Spring Haul for Moms

Sharing is caring!

Hello friends!

I am not sure if I should be doing a post for Spring Haul for Moms because for the past few days it has felt like fall around here. It’s been grey, chilly and raining. Nothing like May should feel like in my opinion.

But regardless of what the weather is doing outside, I’ve been busy re-doing my wardrobe and getting ready for upcoming trips.

Since we moved to Colorado 3 years ago, I have been slowly learning to let go of things and 2016 was a big year for clearing out old clothes. I believe I got rid of over 14 big trash bags of clothes!

In 2016, I purchased only maternity pieces and after I gave birth, I looked at my closet and realized most of my clothes pre-pregnancy that still remained were not breastfeeding friendly and needed an overall refresh. So I got rid of more clothes and started shopping. This time being mindful that I didn’t want to fill up my closet, but only buy a few pieces that I could wear with my existing wardrobe. Quality over quantity was my motto and if a piece went in, then something had to come out. It also had to be breastfeeding friendly and comfortable – in essence, a spring haul for moms.

I found so many cute things at Nordstrom Rack that I ended up getting most of what I needed in one shopping trip. WIN! As a new mom, I just don’t have time for shopping in store anymore, so if I go through the trouble of getting the kiddo in the car, driving to the store, looking around, etc… I better find everything I need in one place and quick.

I really love the pieces in this spring haul for moms. They have some trend qualities like stripes, ruffles, florals and blush tones, but still work for a breastfeeding, busy mom. I hope you enjoy it!
