Chicken Salad with Grapes and Apples

This easy and homemade salad is made with rotisserie chicken, grapes, celery, apples and walnuts. The dressing is made with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sour cream and lemon juice. A touch of Tarragon adds sweetness and a final touch to this salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken cut into cubes
  • 1 apple cut in matchsticks
  • 1 cup walnuts roughly chopped
  • 1 cup celery cut in small pieces
  • 1 cup grapes halved

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain greek yogurt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsbp honey (optional)
  • tarragon

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into cubes, the grapes in halves, the celery in small pieces and the apple into matchsticks.
  • Mix the wet ingredients to make the dressing. Whisk until smooth.
  • Combine the dressing with the rest of the ingredients and mix well to coat it evenly.
  • Serve it right away or cover with plastic and refrigerate.
