Welcome to our family adventure hub! I’m thrilled you stopped by to join us on our whirlwind journey around the globe. I’m Jana, the mom behind the scenes orchestrating our adventures, and I can’t wait to share our stories with you!
Picture this: a bustling airport terminal, two little ones racing around with excitement, and my husband and I trying to corral them while simultaneously managing our mountain of luggage. Sound familiar? Well, that’s just a typical day in the life of our traveling tribe!
Let me introduce you to the crew: there’s my resourceful car-packing hubby, the man who can fit an elephant into a compact car, and our two little explorers who bring endless energy and enthusiasm to every destination we visit. And then there’s me, the mom who wears many hats – homeschool teacher, logistical wizard, chef-on-the-go, and forgetful photographer that tries to capture precious moments along the way.
Before our globetrotting days, I was a career woman with big dreams and an even bigger wanderlust itch. Fast forward to today, and I’m living my ultimate dream of traveling the world full-time with my family. It’s not always smooth sailing (trust me, I’ve had my fair share of “That is it! We are going back home!” moments), but the memories we’ve made and the experiences we’ve shared together are absolutely priceless.
On this blog, I aim to be your go-to resource for all things family travel. From insider tips on navigating airports with kids in tow to delicious recipes inspired by our global culinary adventures, I’ve got you covered. Think of me as your travel companion, here to share the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
But beyond just sharing our own escapades, I’m here to inspire you to chase your own travel dreams and to make your travel planning a little easier. Yes, even with little ones in tow! Because let’s face it, life is too short to put your wanderlust on hold. Whether it’s a weekend road trip or a months-long journey across continents, I’m here to show you that anything is possible when you set your mind to it.
“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” –
Abraham Lincoln
As a worldschooling family, we believe that the world is our classroom and every journey is an opportunity for learning and growth.
And our early retirement dream? It’s a shared venture that we worked very hard and for a long time to achieve. But let me tell you, every sacrifice was worth it to live this life of freedom and adventure.
So join us as we embark on this wild and wonderful adventure called life. Together, let’s discover the magic of family travel and prove that with a little bit of planning, a whole lot of patience, and a dash of adventurous spirit, the world truly is our playground.
Buckle up, fellow explorers – the journey starts here! 🌟✈️🌎
Ever wondered why we decided to name our blog “Good Life Explorers”? Well, let me shed some light on that. To us, the “good life” isn’t about material possessions or status; it’s about embracing the simple joys, the meaningful connections, and the endless possibilities that life has in store. And as explorers of this beautiful world, we’re constantly seeking out new adventures, new experiences, and new perspectives. So whether we’re hiking through rugged mountains, immersing ourselves in different cultures, or simply spending quality time together as a family, we’re always striving to make the most of every moment and create memories that will last a lifetime.
